Joshua Kerrigan of Florida Announces Launch of New Website

Here, Joshua Kerrigan of Florida will write a wide variety of articles surrounding marinas, yacht management, boating and lifeguarding. Joshua Kerrigan of Florida is using his own funds to open the site.
"I notice that there are many sites on the Internet containing misinformation about boating," Joshua Kerrigan of Florida says. "Seeing these inaccuracies drives me a bit crazy, and I decided to do something about it by opening up my own blog. I'm not trying to change the world or anything, but I do think someone needs to do something to set the record straight and make sure that accurate information is available."
For example, some websites state that almost anyone can pilot a yacht with ease, even if that yacht is quite large. "That's just patently false," Joshua Kerrigan of Florida says. "Larger yachts take a lot of experience to handle properly, and most people who work as professional helmsmen have years and years of experience and training that allows them to do the job right. Not everyone standing on the dock can be expected to jump behind the wheel of a yacht and move it without running into something."
Joshua Kerrigan of Florida holds a license to work as a paramedic, and he finds many websites overlook the health and safety aspects of boating. "I see many websites devoted to yachting that have photos of people drinking alcohol on board. This is just not a safe thing to do," Joshua Kerrigan of Florida says. "Also, I see very few photos of people in lifejackets and that seems like a big omission. If you fall into the water, a lifejacket becomes a lifesaving intervention instead of a fashion statement. We should be encouraging people to strap these things on."
Joshua Kerrigan of Florida will be updating his website on a regular basis, and he encourages readers to check back on a regular basis. "I don't have a schedule pulled together quite yet, but I expect to be writing on there quite a bit," Joshua Kerrigan of Florida says.
