Sonja Dyess, CEO of what is now Gielow Marketing & PR, decided to expand the company's range of services and products based on her clients' needs, and by doing so would mean a complete revamp of the company's name, logo and the addition of a stronger and hard-working staff.
The name "Gielow" (pronounced gee-low) has a weight of significance to Dyess. Gielow is a small town in Germany where Dyess' mother was from before she escaped the communist movement and immigrated to the United States. She wanted to bring her mother's strength and courage into her company, thus Gielow Marketing & PR was born.
"I get asked all the time why the change? My answer is simple, I want to give today's businesses what they need in order to succeed without breaking the bank," said Dyess.
