Digital Entertainment Pioneers Form Strategic Alliance - Rainy Songs and Blue Pie sign agreement for Digital Content Delivery & Technology
The new agreement provides long-term renewable revenue streams for both companies and provides Rainysongs with access to the Blue Pie, Blue Vault Digital and Magic Blue Creative source code libraries for North America and Latin America. Both companies are very excited about the new venture.
MIAMI, FL, January 14, 2010 /Bloggin and Social Media PR News/ -- Rainysongs Entertainment & Blue Pie Productions announced today the signing of a services and technology agreement with Blue Pie Productions Pty Ltd, a privately held Australian company engaged in digital entertainment, music publishing, digital distribution of software, music, video games, music videos and movies.
The services agreement provides Rainysongs Entertainment with a new "Rainysongs Digital" branded online store to launch Rainysongs rapidly expanding digital content library. Combined with Blue Pie's extended digital content libraries, creative, marketing, and technology services, The Rainysongs Digital store will have over 5 million tracks available for customers to download and enjoy. The agreement also provides Rainysongs with access to the Blue Pie, Blue Vault Digital and Magic Blue Creative source code libraries for North America and Latin America. Both companies are very excited about the new venture.
Blue Pie is creating the new Rainysongs Entertainment web portals that include: Rainy Davis - Artist / Songwriter Website, Rainysongs Label Website, RED Digital Store, and Rainysongs Producer website. Song writing and music production will now be an addition to the new and improved "menu" of services available from Rainysongs Entertainment.
Rainysongs Digital store will feature some of the greatest entertainers and artists from the past 50 years to a current catalogue along with over 14,000 labels and digital aggregators from all over the world including SONY DADC, Universal Music, EMI, The Orchard, Sharkarts, Xelon Entertainment, Blue Pie Records, Full Entertain Music and Reality Entertainment to name a few. The Blue Pie catalogue of content is constantly growing and will steadily increase as Rainysongs Entertainment and Blue Pie acquire more digital music, videos and movies for inclusion into the catalogue.
Rainysongs Entertainment Digital Services and music store launch will include tracks of all Rainysongs owned/controlled catalogue artists and all affiliated labels with additions of new releases and signings. The agreement enhances Rainysongs services in the digital entertainment market by providing music placement opportunities worldwide, concert bookings overseas for its clients, music catalogue administration and collection, custom music vouchers, online radio stations, SMS marketing and more.
In addition to the new services the agreement provides:
1. Blue Pie granting Rainysongs Entertainment one of three Exclusive licenses to represent and sell the Blue Pie product line of digital content and software for North America & Mexico.
2. Hosting and data management services and maintenance of the new store from the Australian and USA Blue Pie data centres.
Rainy Songs will form the primary hub of Blue Pie's operations into North America.
About the services agreement:
The agreement provides Blue Pie with a direct doorway to the U.S., Canadian and Latin American markets. Rainysongs and their Miami / New York base will be the processing and management "hub "for Blue Pie's products & services for North America. Rainysongs and Blue Pie are excited about existing opportunities and have commenced discussions to build digital entertainment channels enabling expansion of their content libraries and global exposure for both companies catalogues. As part of the agreement Blue Pie has allocated dedicated sales and infrastructure staff in the USA to work directly with Rainysongs Entertainment and assist them with all day to day backend operations of running and administering the rights held within the agreement for the noted territories.
Under the new agreement Blue Pie will combine training, sales efforts and pool resources including administration and management systems to process and manage all Rainysongs activity. Blue Pie has extensive sales channels and has secured a number of lucrative digital entertainment software development contracts with several joint venture agreements for digital entertainment products to be sold with various MP3, and Mobile Content Delivery Device companies.
